Hiya! ✌🏻

I’m Saki Kanomata 🌸, a UX designer, empath, and storyteller with a background in filmmaking. I’m also a 🇯🇵🇺🇸 second-generation Japanese-American, 🏋🏻‍♀️ weightlifting hobbyist, 🍵 matcha latte addict, and 💞 passionate advocate for users. I approach projects with the overarching goal of creating accessible designs anchored in research.

I have completed the Google UX Design Specialization, and Springboard’s UX/UI Design program. My most recent project at BoardSpace, a B2B software company, allowed me to flex my research, project management, and rapid prototyping skills to improve the decision-making process for non-profit boards.

Additionally, I’ve had opportunities to utilize my UX skills in my role at Nickelodeon, where I have participated in design critiques with the Interactive Design Team.
